Detection of Large Deletions in CRISPR Experiments
It can be challenging to detect large deletions in CRISPR experiments using the standard Sanger/NGS approach.
Here we show the power of the INDEL Profiling Platform, to easily detect a large deletion (app. 600bs) in a pool of human cells and confirm 100 % bi-allelic deletion in a selected clone.
Customer did targeted deletion using 2 gRNAs, extracted DNA from cells and shipped the genomic DNA to COBO Technologies. COBO did tri-primer PCR, INDEL analysis and bioinformatic using ProfileIt and reported back results within only 5 days.
The data was generated in collaboration with a research group at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden.
